The A.P. Jess Group has supplied meat products to customers for over 40 years. The family owned business was established in 1976 when founder Archie Jess opened his first butcher shop in Greenock. Since then the company has evolved massively to be a highly integrated Processing, Manufacturing and Distribution Operation.

About AP JessA.P. Jess has a clear focus on quality beef and lamb carcass cuts; producing more than 200 roastings a week for the catering sector. We also produce all beef primal cuts across the board for some of the most discerning wholesale, retail and catering customers in the UK & Europe.

The group operates using modern slaughter, de-boning and manufacturing techniques at our state of the art facilities where we can offer retail packing and cooking services. With this and our highly skilled workforce, coupled with rigorous in-house HACCP controls, it ensures that we can meet even the most demanding specifications.
